Big Snowy Owl

This is definitely my biggest owl so far. Just loved all the photos of these guys coming to visit the states. Have yet to see one but I’m still hoping!

According to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology: The Eastern Screech-Owl is found in nearly every habitat throughout the eastern United States and southern Canada. It is common in urban as well as rural areas and readily nests in nest boxes.

I finished this one a little differently to let the paper show through a bit. I think it works because of the Snowy Owl’s coloring. These guys are just so cute – would love to see one in real life!
