There were two of them outside my window yesterday flying in circles around each other, it was so amazing.. they looked like big fat butterflies.

There is a new bird stopping by every few days now. This little guy was kind enough to sit still for a few moments to let me a get a shot. What do you think he is? He had black and white wings and a beautiful red patch under his chin.

This one is pretty big! From what I can tell, he is around the actual size of a burrowing owl. If you see one of these guys bobbing his head that means he’s mad!

Saw this little guy out the window. I know it’s a bad photo, taken through the screen. First time I have seen one like him around here. What kind of bird do you think it is?

A Japanese woman was reunited with her missing pet parakeet last week when the bird began reciting his home address to police! Piko, a two-year-old blue budgerigar – or ‘bugdie’ – went missing on a Sunday and was spotted perching on a guest’s shoulder at a nearby hotel, according to the media reports. Piko was taken to the local police where he stunned the cops by chirping the street address of his home, near Tokyo.
