He wouldn’t turn around for this shot. Looks like he spent most of the night in there judging from the mess he made. Makes me wonder how long Peanut suffered.
Apparently the ultrasonic devices are not working. Or maybe he’s deaf? Or he was already in the house? I don’t know. I moved one of the devices to another location to see if it helps.

Hmmm… it’s funny how mice and birds seem to attract each other. Maybe because they eat the same stuff or maybe it’s because birds are like winged rodents.
Birds like winged rodents? Hmmm, maybe bats, I’m not seeing it with birds. Peanut did like the bird food though.
Previous comment … Birds like winged rodents … agggghhh. Anyways thank you so much for catching and releasing these guys. I’ve been reading another blog (no longer) where a woman posted about how here and her husband chased this poor mouse all over their house before she finally managed to wack it on the head with a hammer. I told her how sad this was, not only for the mouse but for her and her husband. She tried to make it sound fun/funny and all I could think about was how scared the poor thing was before he met his demise. God created all creatures and it is sad when man thinks that we are so superior … sorry for being so grim but every time I think of how you helped Peanut I smile and smile and thank God! Tom
Oh that’s terrible! What a horrid woman. It’s never funny to terrorize a living creature. I can’t help but think that people like that must be a little dead inside.
Whay to go Peanut II – show us your bottom and hightail out of there
Ha – that’s funny, maybe he was mooning me
they sure are cute.. I am very happy you let him go.
