Reblogged from Unique Schmuck:
Australia Day, which seems to have become more obnoxious in my absence, saw me arise from a tent pitched near the Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean Road. As we breakfasted, some curious blue wrens came hopping by. I did not have my camera, but I had my visitor's. I do like people who are more than happy for me to snap photos using their camera.
Look at this Bird! What a cutie - another one makes the list :)

What an exotic bird… where was this taken?
I don’t know, I just reblogged. I think the OP was camping, there was mention if a tent.. will have to go see.
Australia – of course…. They have all the great birds!
Cool, I have never seen on of these little guys before.
Me neither – aren’t they so cute? I’m making one
Hi dou dou!
Thanks for re-blogging my post!
This photo was taken at Princetown on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. Blue wrens (and their many lovely variations – Superb, Fairy etc) are reasonably common throughout Australia.
That’s interesting because the blue wrens we have over here in WA are completely blue all over (the males). This one looks like a cross between a male and a female which of course is impossible!
Hi!
Thanks for reblogging.
These were taken at Princetown, Great Ocean Road, Victoria.
I think the birds are superb fairy wrens, which are fairly common in south-eastern Australia. The blue all over wrens are, I think, splendid fairy wrens.
Not the ordinary fairy wren but the SUPERB fairy wren! Very fitting.
